LTU Hosts Marygrove Today at 4:00 P.M.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team looks to continue their success as they host Marygrove (Mich.) College today at 4:00 P.M. at the LTU Athletic Field. Lawrence Tech (6-1) (1-0 WHAC) enters this match after winning against Cornerstone (Mich.) University 2-1 for the first time in school history.

Scoring in the history making win against Cornerstone were Tia Lamie and Nicole Propst. Lamie has now contributed six of the 24 goals scored this season. Propst's goal marked her second winning goal this year and the 20 goal of her career. Heather Derstine was in net for Lawrence Tech, recording four saves and one goal allowed.

The Mustangs enter this match 1-5 on the season. Their latest game was a 1-3 loss to Goshen College on Monday, September 19. Bianca Baron scored the only goal for Marygrove. Leading the Mustangs this season is freshman Whitney Cole with four goals and six shots. Following her is senior Bianca Barron with two goals and nine shots.

In net for Marygrove is freshman Melyssa Olmstead. On 70 shots on goal, she has recorded 17 allowed goals and 78 saves.
