Jimmy Mancuso begins his 4th season with the Blue Devils Baseball program in 2019-2020.  Mancuso oversees the Blue Devils catchers and hitters along with assisting the pitching staff during the season.  Prior to his time at LTU, Mancuso was the Head Baseball Coach at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy in Detroit, Michigan.  In his six years at U of D Jesuit, Mancuso won over 100 games and assisted over 20 players in making it to the collegiate ranks. Included in that group are MLB Draft picks, All-State and Dream Team members as well as multiple East-West All Star game participants.  Mancuso was also named MHSBCA District Coach of the Year from 2011-2016, in addition to being named the MHSBCA Regional Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2016.

Mancuso spends his summers assisting with the highly renowned A. Green Baseball Organization, where he serves as an associate coach and heads up the Player Development side of the organization.  Mancuso’s focus with A. Green centers on the program’s catchers, 3 of whom have gained baseball scholarships to Division 1 schools in the Big Ten and ACC. Mancuso also serves as a private instructor throughout Metro Detroit and as a speaker and presenter at clinics and events throughout the region.

Mancuso graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Sports Management and Legal Studies. After his time in Mt. Pleasant, Mancuso worked with Sportstars Inc., considered to be one of the largest sports agencies in the country, with the majority of their clients playing in the NFL.  While in New York, Mancuso was point man on the agency’s combine operations, ensuring the incoming clients’ needs were met during their Training and Draft preparations.

Currently, Mancuso works at the Detroit Produce Terminal where he is a buyer, salesman, and  logistics/transportation coordinator for a large produce distribution company; continuing his family’s long legacy in the Detroit Produce industry.  Mancuso and his wife, Beth, currently resides in Livonia, Michigan.
