Matt Fenech
Title: Assistant Coach

Matt Fenech joins the LTU Staff for his 1st season in 2018 – 2019, after having completed his playing career at Rochester College from 2012 – 2015.  During his time at Rochester, Fenech played every position with the exception of 1B.

In 2015, Fenech was honored with the Warrior Award, which is based on being selected as the best teammate on the team, both on and off of the field of play.

Prior to joining the LTU Staff, Fenech spent two years (2017-2018) at Rochester High School as an Assistant Baseball Coach and he also served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Baptist Park High School (2010-2011).

Fenech graduated from Baptist Park high School in 2010 and is currently as a Sports Performance Level 1 Coach certified USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach (USAW).  Fenech is also the Co-Owner of Michigan’s Premier Sports Performance Training Center in Rochester.

Fenech is also the Director of the Premier Michigan elite summer travel baseball program, now in its 2nd season.  Fenech lives in Rochester, Michigan and will be working primarily on the defensive side of the game with the positional players at LTU.
