NEWTON, Kan.- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's golf team finished their last tournament of the season in fourth place at the Tabor College Fall Invite in the Sand Creek Station Golf Course. The Blue Devils posted a team score of 645 (325-320).
Victor Queinnec finished in the top 10 as he tied for ninth with a 154 (78-76), 12 shots short of tournament medalists Harry Fearn and Harry Dolg from Indian Hills (Iowa) Community College. Tanner Schnell finished 18th with a 161 (81-80), while Eddie Sheehan tied in 19th with a 162 (82-80). Kaleb Wiesner took the 35th spot after carding a 170 (86-84) and Josh Stein finished 36th with a 171 (84-87).
Indian Hills CC won the tournament after carding a 585 (284-301). Iowa Western Community College and Bethany (Kan.) College rounded out the top three with a 614 (306-308) and 628 (312-316), respectively.
Lawrence Tech will be back in action on March 12 at the LTU Spring Break Invitational in Opelika, Ala. at the Lake Course of Grand National GC.
