  • Blue Devils Split Weekend Series against Rochester

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich. With what has become a pound and ground series against the Warriors continued this weekend. With the Lawrence Tech men’s hockey team splitting the weekend series against the scrappy Warriors of Rochester University (Mich.). Game one saw the series go outside at the 10th Annual Blue Devil Outdoor Classic held at Clark Park in south Detroit.

    Southfield: As the National Hockey League (NHL) just recently wrapped up their annual New Year’s tradition of playing hockey outside. It also is bringing the nostalgia back of playing hockey where it begins for many on ponds in the neighborhoods, or in the back yard of someone’s house. The Blue Devils look to do the same as the Lawrence Tech Hockey program heads to South Detroit to Clark Park in what has become its annual tradition of sorts in the New Year.

    FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University men's ACHA DI hockey team hosted the Duquesne Dukes (Pa.) for two back to back home games this past weekend. The first game was won with a stellar 9-3 decision while the second game went very much the same with a 9-2 win.
  • Blue Devils Sweep Weekend with Double Wins Versus Cleary University; Win at Home 11-1, Win on the Road 5-4

    FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University men's hockey team (ACHA DI) swept the weekend versus Cleary University. This is their last matches of the month of November. The first match versus the Cougars was at home and resulted with the Blue Devils dominating with a 11-1 win. Then, on the road, they had a much narrower game yet came out on top with a 5-4 win.
  • Blue Devils Fall to Dearborn Wolverines 5-1 at Home, Ey with Lone Goal

    FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University ACHA DI team faced the University of Michigan-Dearborn at the Blue Devils home ice rink and fell 5-1. While typically there is a second game to play this weekend, the teams are holding off, creating a three game stint in February.
  • Hockey Programs Prepare for Back to Back Games this Weekend; ACHA DI to Face #15 Indiana Tech, ACHA DIII to Face Calvin

    The Lawrence Technological University hockey programs have another weekend chalk full of games to play. First up is a pair of home games for each program. The ACHA DIII squad plays first at home on Friday, October 25th, hosting Calvin College (Mich) at Farmington Hills Ice Arena where the puck is set to drop at 5:45 p.m.. Following the conclusion of this match, the ACHA DI team takes the ice and hosts a tough 15th in the nation Indiana Institute of Technology team at 8:15 p.m..
  • Blue Devil Hockey Preview, Homecoming Week; ACHA DI Faces Concordia

    Following a back and forth weekend against Rochester, where the Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils fell on the road 1-5 to the Warriors and then came back home to Farmington Hills, reversing the score with a 5-1 win, LTU welcomes Concordia Ann Arbor (Mich.) back to their rink to face them for third and forth time this season.

    Following a 1-5 loss to Rochester University, the Lawrence Technological University men's ACHA DI hockey team hosts the Warriors tonight on October 11th at 5:30 p.m at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena.
  • ACHA DI Announces Schedule for 2019-20 season; Opens with Matches Against Concordia

    The Lawrence Technological University men's ACHA DI team announced their schedule for the 2019-2020 season. This comes following the dissolving of the NAIHA WHAC division which they played in for only a few years. The Blue Devils also will be changing home venues this year to the Farmington Hills Ice Arena, a change of scenery from the Southfield Ice arena.
