SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Following the narrow 14-13 loss to Aquinas College (Mich.) the Lawrence Technological University men's lacrosse team prepares for two WHAC matches this week, both on the road. The first game is against Lourdes University (Ohio) on Wednesday, March 27th. Then they travel on Saturday to face Concordia University (Mich.) on Saturday, March 30th.
Lawrence Tech (2-4, 0-1) has several heavy hitters on their roster going into these two games. Justin Light leads the team in goals with 16, averaging almost three a game. Brenden Oles leads the team in assists with 11, ranking 14th in the nation. Joel Trent ranks 16th in the nation with total saves at 53.
The NO. 8 Lourdes (5-0, 1-0) is coming off a 21-4 win against Taylor University (Ind.). They are led by Nick Johnson who has 15 goals this season.
Concordia (2-3, 0-1) is coming off a 17-9 loss to WHAC opponent Indiana Tech. They play Madonna on Wednesday, March 27th before hosting the Blue Devils on Saturday.
