Men's Lacrosse Qualifies for NAIA National Tournament; Moves into Top 10 with NO. 3 Placement in Final Coaches' Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has announced the qualifying teams for the 2019 men's Lacrosse National Invitational. The Lawrence Technological University men's team got an At-Large bid this year following their loss in the WHAC Championship game to Indiana Tech. The Invite will be held May 8th through the 11th at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  This will be LTU's second appearance in the National Invite.

The NAIA also announced its Coaches' Final Top 10 poll where the Blue Devils come in at NO. 3 after not being ranked in the previous poll.

Sitting at the top of the bracket is the NO. 1 team Reinhardt (Ga.), who has two back to back titles and comes in after winning their conference. Three other WHAC teams made the cut, with NO. 6 Aquinas, NO. 2 Indiana Tech and NO. 8 Madonna also representing the WHAC along with the Blue Devils in the invite.

The Blue Devils will play on Wednesday, May 8th at 10:00 am against fellow WHAC opponent Aquinas. The winner will play on Friday, May 10th against the winner of Indiana Tech and NO. 7 Keiser University (Fla.).
