Lawrence Tech Softball To Host Four Camps in Late July at Troy Athens High School

LTU SOFTBALL CAMP HOME | WAIVER FORM

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University softball program has four camps in July that they will host in Troy, Mich. The four camps include Summer Softball Multi-Skill Camp (Ages 7-12), Summer Softball Prospect Camp (13-17), LTU Summer Offensive Camp, and the LTU Summer Softball Pitching and Catching Camp. The camp dates range from July 23 to July 25 and takes place at Troy Athens High School Softball Field at 4333 John R Rd - Troy, MI 48085

"The Lawrence Tech camps are designed for players to develop their skills in all areas of the game of softball," Lawrence Tech Head Coach Karen Baird said. "The Blue Devil coaches and college players will be on hand to demonstrate and instruct not only the basics but also more advanced areas of the game. Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. Our softball camps in Michigan are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Camp Staff will include current Lawrence Tech Softball coaching staff and college softball players."

July 23-24 | The Summer Softball Multi-Skill Camp is for students ages 7-12 and is on Tuesday and Wednesday July 23-24. The camp goes from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m and costs $80. LTU Softball staff and players will be conducting summer softball camps covering hitting, defense and base running. Players will be separated into training groups by age and skill level and every aspect of the softball game will be covered during each day schedule. We will do situational games and instructional total team situations.

Staff: LTU softball staff and players will conduct this camp. What to bring: Each camper must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Eligibility: Girls ages 7-12. Campers will be grouped by age/ability. This camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by age and availability.

July 23-24 | The Summer Softball Prospect Camp is for students ages 13-17 and is on Tuesday and Wednesday July 23-24. The camp goes from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and costs $100. LTU Softball Staff and players will be conducting summer softball camps covering all aspects of the game. We will do live games during this camp.

Staff: LTU softball staff and players will conduct this camp. What to bring: Each camper must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Eligibility: Girls ages 13-17. Campers will be grouped by age/ability. This camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by age and availability.

July 25 | The LTU Summer Softball Offensive Camp is Thursday, July 25 for ages 7-17 and goes from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost of this camp is $45. LTU Softball Staff and player will be conducting a summer softball camp for offensive skill development.

Staff: LTU softball staff and players will conduct this camp. What to bring: Each camper must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Eligibility: Girls ages 7-17. Campers will be grouped by age/ability. This camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by age and availability.

July 25 | The LTU Summer Softball Pitching and Catching Camp is Thursday, July 25 for ages 7-17 and goes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cost of this camp is $45. LTU Softball staff and players will be conducting a summer softball camp for pitcher and catcher development.

Players should bring a glove, bat, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Eligibility: Girls ages 7-17. Campers will be grouped by age/ability. This camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by age and availability.
