SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University Women's basketball team faces Alma College (Mich.) at home on Saturday, November 2nd at 3:00 p.m.. This is only their third game of the season, continuing their home stand.
The Blue Devils (1-1, 0-0) welcome the Scots of Alma (0-0, 0-0) who come into this game with no matches under their belt. Last year, the Scots made headway with a record 15 wins for their program.
LTU is under new leadership on their sideline in the form of their coaching staff. Currently, on the court, three Blue Devils have been shining. Kendall Fisher, Teryn Kline and Danielle Hanson all have 33 points this season with two games under their belt. Leading the team defensively is Rachel Price with six blocks and Hanson with five steals. At Point guard is returner Fisher who grabbed a double double against Point Park (Pa.) with 19 points and 10 assists. She also leads the team in assists with 15.
Following this match, the Blue Devils have another home match on Wednesday, November 6th where they host Grace Christian (Mich.) at 11 A.M.. The Tigers (2-2) this season with two recent wins, one 67-66 against Trinity Christian College (Ill.) and a 70-65 win against Lourdes University (Ohio), a fellow WHAC opponent.
