GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's golf team finished fourth at the Aquinas College Invitational on Monday, April 8 at the Watermark Golf Club. The Blue Devils finished with a 370 (+82) team score, 34 shots behind medalist Siena Heights (Mich.) University.
Manasa Potluri led the way for LTU with a top 10 finish. The Canton, Mich. native took eighth place after carding an 86, 14-over par, seven shots behind leaders Madysin Reed from SHU and Karen Zambrano from Madonna (Mich.) University. Sara Davis finished in 19th place after setting her personal-best for a round, 92 (+20). Kirsten Crawford tied in the 21st spot with a 95 (+23), while Madison Solecki shot 97 (+25) to take the 26th place.
The tournament's host, Aquinas (Mich.) College, followed SHU as runner-up with a 344 (+56) tally. Madonna took third place after carding 353 (+65), while Lourdes (Ohio) University rounded out the top five with a 385 (+97).
The Blue Devils will be back in action on April 12-13 when they host the LTU Shootout at Stonehedge in Augusta, Mich.
