Women's Soccer Host Indiana Tech for Homecoming Match on October 19th

Lawrence Technological University holds homecoming for the week of October 13th with activities for students and alumni, including multiple home events on Friday and Saturday. The women's soccer team will host a home game on Saturday, October 19th at 7:30 p.m. to continue their 2019 season.

The Blue Devils (8-4-0, 4-2-0) come into this match following an 5-2 win versus Cleary University (Mich.) where Mather got a hat trick in goals and Nyboer got a hat trick in assists. Mather continues to lead the team in points with 20 from nine goals and two assists, while the only other Blue Devil to have double digits is DiOnna Hill with 15 points.  Nyboer leads the team in assists with six. In goal, Rebecca Almandoz has 38 saves this year.

Facing the Warriors of Indiana Tech (4-8-0, 0-5-0), who have no conference losses this year, the Blue Devils prepare for their game under the lights following the football and men's soccer matches on the same day. They are led by the efforts of Kayla Saffran who has six goals this year. For the Warriors, their two keepers split time in net, grabbing 81 saves between the two of them. The Warriors face Concordia Ann Arbor (Mich.) on Wednesday before heading to Southfield for their match on Saturday.
