Jason Clare

Coach Jason Clare joins the Lawrence Tech University Men’s Soccer staff as an assistant coach beginning with the Fall 2025 season. He arrives at LTU following his tenure as head coach of the Concordia University Ann Arbor Cardinals, a fellow WHAC program until the university’s athletics department closure in May 2025.

Clare led the CUAA men’s soccer program since 2022 and has also served as a head coach with Michigan Boys ODP since the same year. Prior to his time at Concordia, he was the Technical Director for U13–U19 at Liverpool International Academy in Ann Arbor, where he also coached at the high school level and oversaw performance training.

Before moving to Michigan, Clare coached in Colorado, spending six years at NCAA Division II Colorado Mesa University as assistant and then head coach of the women’s soccer team from 2012–2018. He began his collegiate coaching career at Dodge City Community College in Kansas, working with both the men’s and women’s programs from 2010–2012.

A native of southwest England, Clare holds a UEFA B Coaching License, NSCAA Premier Diploma, and an FA Level 2 Goalkeeping Certificate. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff in 2005 and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Leadership.

Coach Clare brings a strong track record of player development and leadership across all levels of the game and is a valuable addition to the Blue Devils coaching staff.
