On Jan. 25, 2014 Northwestern Ohio extended a three-point halftime lead in the second half to win, 86-76. The Racers finished the game shooting 21-of-23 from the charity stripe, while the Lady Blue Devils struggled, shooting 12-of-20. Lawrence Tech outscored UNOH's bench 31-11, but lost the battle of rebounds (41-31), assists (17-15), and turnovers (11-13). True freshman Allison Kitchen (SO/Clio, MI) finished with a game-high 21 points. Allison Bicknell (JR/Waterford, MI) added 11 points and four rebounds.

Last Time Out

For the first time in program history, the Lawrence Tech women's basketball team won its third straight Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) game, defeating the University of Michigan-Dearborn, 80-57. The Lady Blue Devils are now 4-1 all-time against the Wolverines, with an 18-point average margin of victory over the last three contests. Kitchen finished the night with a game-high 27 points, while grabbing nine rebounds. Allison Bicknell dropped 15 points, six assists, and four rebounds in 38 minutes of action.

November to Remember

Allison Kitchen dominated the month of November, averaging 23.7 points per game, while shooting an astonishing 76 percent from the field - tops in the country for a guard, second overall. Kitchen also averaged 3.2 steals per game over the five game span to rank 14th in the nation and second in the WHAC.

Scouting Northwestern Ohio

The Racers visit Southfield, Mich. with a 4-4 (WHAC 2-2) record, including a WHAC record breaking performance against Concordia University - Ann Arbor, scoring 126 points in a 126-81 victory. Madison Coldren leads an explosive offensive averaging 16.4 points per game, while Sammi Dervisevic, Eboni Adams, and Becca Harshman all average just over ten points per contest. Dervisevic is the team's deep threat, shooting 44 of the team's 72 three-point attempts.
