Allison Kitchen (SO/Clio, MI) led Lawrence Tech to its first ever win over Concordia University (Mich.), 110-91, scoring a career-high 34 points. The Blue Devils outscored the Cardinals in the second half 56-40 to seal the victory and earn its first WHAC win of the season in just the second game of conference play. Five other players topped double-figures on the evening, including: Allison Bicknell (JR/Waterford, MI), Hannah Huff (JR/Waterford, MI), Jazmine Brown (JR/Chesterfield, MI), Laura Bruton (FR/Farmington Hills, MI), and Maegan Branham (SO/Michigan Center, MI).

It took overtime, but the Lady Blue Devils earned LTU's first win over an NAIA ranked opponent, upsetting No. 22-ranked Madonna University (Mich.) in thrilling fashion, 86-82. The Blue Devils outscored the Crusaders 17-13 in extra minutes to seal the victory and revenge an overtime loss to Madonna earlier this season. Freshman Hayley Walkowski (FR/Marshall, MI) paced LTU with 19 points and four assists, while Hali Butler (JR/Fairport Harbor, OH) added 18 points and 16 rebounds.
