Box Score SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - As the saying goes when you get knocked down you get back up and that is what the Blue Devils of Lawrence Technological University (Mich.) did on Wednesday night inside the Don Ridler Field House. With a bounce-back win against the Grey Wolves of Lourdes University (Ohio) to the tune of 74 to 47. Coming off a tough loss to the Saints on Saturday night in Adrian, Michigan, it was time to move forward and get back on the winning side of things. The Blue Devils answered the call tonight with four Blue Devils hitting double digits and looking stellar from beyond the arch tonight it was the bounce-back game the Blue Devils needed.
The Blue Devils were led tonight offensively by the junior from Ft. Wayne, Indiana Teryn Kline who shot 6-9 from the field tonight and dropped 18 pts alongside her 3 rebounds and 6-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Alongside Teryn's effort tonight the Blue Devils had strong outings from Senior Kaitlyn Smith who knocked in 12 pts, Senior Danielle Hanson who had a double-double on the night with 11 pts and 10 boards. Lastly, the sophomore Kendall Fisher who had 15 pts with 7 boards and 8 assists in the win.
Overall the Blue Devils shot 44.8% on the night from the field and shot 56.3% from beyond the arc tonight and going perfectly on the night at the charity 4-4. The Blue Devils were even on the rebounding side of things going 44-44 respectively. Meanwhile, assist were the game-changer for the Blue Devils dropping 17 dimes while the Grey Wolves had 0 assists on the night. The Blue Devils did struggle with ball control giving the ball up 16 times compared to the Grey Wolves 12 turnovers.
