SOUTHFIELD, Mich. The women's basketball team returned to the Don Ridler Field House on Wednesday night for a conference clash against the Racers of Northwestern Ohio. Early on the Blue Devils set the tone for what eventually became a blowout win to the tune of 79-53. The Blue Devils move to 11-5 overall in the series and make it five straight games in which they have beat the Racers.

Overall the Blue Devils came out firing on all cylinders going on a 12-0 run to open up the first quarter. The Blue Devils would end the quarter up 23-16. Going into the second quarter it was all Blue Devils still ending the quarter holding the racers to 6 points offensively and extending their lead even further. The Blue Devils would shoot 30-62 (48.4%) from the field tonight and 15-34 (44.1%) from beyond the arc. All ten Blue Devils saw action tonight in the route of the racers with the Senior Rachel Price leading the way for the Blue Devils with 17 points and 3 rebounds. Alongside Rachel's efforts tonight fellow senior Danielle Hanson had 13 points and 5 rebounds and Kaitlyn Smith notched a double-double tonight with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Leading the way for the Blue Devils was Kendall Fisher who notched another double-double on the season with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Looking ahead the Blue Devils get ready for their annual Pink Out game on Saturday, January 25, 2020, when the Saints of Aquinas College come to the Don Ridler for the final game of this two-game homestand.  Tip-off is set for 1 pm prior to the game fans will be able to take photos in the Big Pink Chair from the American Cancer Society.
