SOUTHFIELD, Mich.-  It was a time to celebrate for the Lawrence Tech women's basketball team on Saturday afternoon inside the Don Ridler Field House. When they honored Hope Dollarhide, Danielle Hanson, Rachel Price, and Kaitlyn Price for senior day, it also happened to be the final regular-season home game for the Blue Devils as they took on conference foe Siena Heights.

However, the Blue Devils who needed a win dropping two out of their last three games were in a twelve round boxing match Saturday afternoon inside the Don Ridler Field House. But as the final round came to a close, the Blue Devils had been knocked out falling 63-70 to Siena Heights.  

Overall the Blue Devils were back to their selves shooting again going 25-67 (37.3%) from the field, 10-25 (40%) from beyond the arc, and 3-6 (50%) from the charity stripe. Led by the senior sharpshooter from Holly, Michigan Kaitlyn Smith had a team-high 20 points and three steals. The sophomore Kendall Fisher had another double-digit game herself, scoring 19 points alongside nine assists and three rebounds. Lastly, the senior from East Lansing, Michigan Danielle Hanson dropped in 16 points, while grabbing nine rebounds and two assists.

Looking ahead for the Blue Devils, they hit the road for their final two WHAC games, first heading to Sylvania, Ohio, to take on the Grey Wolves of Lourdes University. Tip-off's slated for 6 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. After that, the Blue Devils head up to Rochester, Michigan, to finish out the season against the Warriors of Rochester University (Mich.).
