Southfield, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils women's basketball team took on the Cornerstone Golden Eagles in WHAC play.

The Eagles edged out the 66-53 victory on their home floor to move to 2-1 in conference play.

Kendall Fisher led the Blue Devils with 13 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds. Dominique Evans also chipped in 13 points with six steals and five rebounds. Gracie Mitchell added 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench. Julia Huey was also in double figures with 10.

1st Quarter

• Jade Faris scores off a Fisher assist to start the scoring
• Jaycee Long three gave Cornerstone a 7-4 advantage
• Cornerstone goes on a 9-4 run over four minutes to extend their lead to eight
• Huey three cuts the deficit to five
• Kennedy Helderop layup finishes the scoring for the quarter

2nd Quarter

• No points in the first 2:44 for either team
• Mackenzie Stien basket-and-a-foul extends Golden Eagles lead to 10
• An 8-0 run over the next two minutes by the Blue Devils made it a two-point game
• Stien free throw and Olivia Kubik jumper extend the lead back to five
• Another 8-0 run down the stretch gave the Blue Devils the 27-24 lead
• Maddison Fulks knocks down a free throw to end the half
• Lawrence Tech led at half 27-25

3rd Quarter

• The Blue Devils start the quarter on a 10-2 run over the first four-and-a-half minutes
• Another Long three cut it to 37-30
• A 9-0 run over a minute-and-a-half expanded the LTU lead to 16.
• Three Cornerstone free throws made the score 46-33
• Mitchell's layup returned it to a 15 point LTU lead
• Stien's buzzer-beating putback layup ended the third quarter scoring
• Lawrence Tech 48, Cornerstone 35 after three quarters

4th Quarter

• Mitchell starts off the scoring with a jumper off a Huey assist
• A Fisher three extended the LTU lead to 18.
• An 8-0 run by Cornerstone brought it within 10 with four minutes to play
• Evans layup-and-a-foul extended the lead to 13 with a minute left
• The teams traded free throws to end the game
• Lawrence Tech defeats Cornerstone 66-53
