Southfield, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils women's basketball team took on the Lourdes Gray Wolves in a battle of WHAC foes.

The Blue Devils edged out a 68-60 victory. They never trailed in the game, and the only tie was early on at two apiece.

Kendall Fisher led all scorers with 20 points, adding five rebounds and five assists in the process. Julia Huey added 17 points, on 5-of-12 shooting from downtown, along with three blocks. Jade Faris also reached double figures with 13 points.

How it Happened:

1st Quarter

• Fisher's layup off the opening tip starts the scoring for the Blue Devils
• Shallyn Miley answers with a jumper
• Faris' layup followed by a Huey make pushes the lead to five
• Back-to-back Huey threes elevated the lead to nine
• Maddie Norton and Gabby Stover's back-to-back baskets cut the deficit to seven
• Fisher's buzzer-beater ended the scoring in the first
• Blue Devils led 17-8 after one

2nd Quarter

• Alex Wolfe starts the second-quarter scoring, starting an 8-0 run for the Gray Wolves over the first three minutes
• Faris' layup begins what would end up being seven unanswered by the Blue Devils, spanning the next five minutes
• Norton and Faris trade layups down the stretch
• Miley finds Wolfe for the fast break layup, ending the scoring for the half
• Lawrence Tech 26, Lourdes 20

3rd Quarter

• Ingram's free throw starts the second-half scoring
• Stover's layup off the Ingram missed free throw got Lourdes a quick three points 30 seconds in
• Huey's fourth triple extends the LTU cushion to six
• Mercedes Wagner's layup diminished the deficit to 38-35
• Moments later, Fisher's three would give the Blue Devils a seven-point advantage
• Stover finds Wagner for a fast break layup to end the third-quarter scoring
• After three, the Blue Devils maintained a three-point margin, 46-43.

4th Quarter

• Fisher's free throw starts off the fourth for the Blue Devils, starting an 8-0 run over the first two-and-a-half minutes
• An Ingram triple cut it to seven with under five minutes to play
• Faris and Miley traded baskets, leaving the LTU lead at eight
• Four straight free throws, two from Kylee Batey and two from Addie Nagel extended the advantage to 12
• Winter Richburg's layup followed by a layup by Stover ends the game on a 4-0 Lourdes run but LTU had the game in hand
• Blue Devils defeat Gray Wolves 68-60

By the Numbers:

• The Blue Devils held Lourdes to 2-of-17 (12%) shooting from downtown, where they shot 9-of-24 (38%)
• Julia Huey extends her block streak to 12-in-a-row
• This is the Blue Devils second consecutive wire-to-wire victory (Nov 28 vs. Governors State)
