Box Score Southfield, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils women's basketball took on the Huntington Foresters in a holiday matinee.
The Blue Devils came away with a 74-59 victory.
Julia Huey and Emily Seboe led all scorers with 24. Kendall Fisher chipped in 18 and school-record (since rebirth) 14 assists.

1st Quarter
- Jade Faris' putback kicked off the scoring
- Back-to-back Seboe triples gave Huntington an early four-point advantage
- Celeste Ryman's layup led to an LTU timeout
- A Maggie Long jumper cut the deficit back to four
- Konnor Gambrell's free throw extended the Foresters' lead to 21-11
- Fisher and Dominique Evans chip in to give the Blue Devils a 5-0 run to end the quarter
- HU led 21-16 after one
2nd Quarter
- Huntington kicks off the quarter on a short 4-0 run over the first minute
- Fisher's eight unanswered tied the game at 25
- Allie Vaughn gave the Foresters a 33-29 lead
- Huey's triple made it a one-point game
- Maggie Long broke the 38-point deadlock with a three, ending the scoring
- LTU led 41-38 at half
3rd Quarter
- Evans scored the first basket of the third, two minutes in, with a jumper
- Fisher finds Huey for one of her 14 dimes, off a turnover, to knock down the trey
- Another Huey three extended the LTU cushion to 11.
- Kyra Baker's jumper stopped the bleeding, ending an 8-0 spurt
- Gambrell's layup cut the Huntington deficit to 11
- Blue Devils 56, Foresters 45 after three
4th Quarter
- Huey's triple off another Fisher helper started the fourth quarter scoring
- Huey from Fisher again from downtown gave the Blue Devils a 62-47 lead
- A 7-0 run by the Forsters, spanning about 75 seconds gave the Foresters a fighting opportunity, cutting the cushion to nine.
- Faris' two unanswered layups, followed by a Gracie Mitchell layup extended the advantage back up to 15
- Back-to-back Seboe triples bring it back to nine
- Layups by Kylee Batey and Huey expand the lead to 72-59
- Fisher hit a jumper with 15 seconds left to end the scoring
- Blue Devils defeat Foresters 74-59
By the Numbers:
- Fisher's 14 assists are a career-high and it breaks her own school record (since the rebirth in 2012) of 12, that she recorded twice
- Huey's six threes this afternoon marks the third time this season that she has made six or more (11/6: 7, 11/28: 6) and the fifth time a Blue Devil has made six threes in a game this season (Fisher, 10/22: 7, Long 11/27: 6)
The Blue Devils (9-7) will take to the road during the holiday season to face off in the Keiser New Year's Classic on Dec. 30, where they will play Keiser at noon.
