Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The women's basketball team hit the road Monday night to take on conference foe Cornerstone in a pivotal matchup and the third road game for the Blue Devils. The Golden Eagles came out on top this go around, beating the Blue Devils 80-61.
Lawrence Tech went 20-46 from the field, shooting 43.5%, going 8-22 from beyond the arc, shooting 36.4%, and went 13-19 from the charity stripe shooting, 68.4% for the evening. Overall the Blue Devils had 24 rebounds, 14 assists, 9 steals, 3 blocks, and 23 turnovers on the night.
Senior Teryn Kline leads the team with 22 pts and 2 assists on the night. While Cierra Harris was the second-leading scorer with 8 pts, Gabby Gough had 7 pts and 6 rebounds. Kylee Batey ended the night with 7 pts, alongside Addie Nagel. Julia Huey had 5 pts, and Kendall Fisher had 3 pts. Gabby Fogarty and Emily Langolf each had 1 point.
Looking ahead, the Blue Devils continue to push forward this week with their second game of the week, this time taking on Madonna Wednesday night at home. The Blue Devils, in total this week, will be competing in 5 games within 9 days. Game time's slated for 5 pm in the Don Ridler Field House.
