Box Score ANN ARBOR, Mich.- Women's basketball hit the road Saturday, February 13th, for a showdown against Concordia in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The result was the Blue Devils battling for four quarters; however, the Cardinals came out on top 65-57.
The Blue Devils, who came into the game looking to bounce back after a hard-fought game Wednesday night in the Don Ridler Field House, were looking for a statement win over the Cardinals. However, a stingy defense by Concordia proved to be too much at the end of the day. The Blue Devils had three players in double digits, led by Kendal Fisher, who had 17 pts, fellow Hoosier Teryn Kline had 11 pts, and Cierra Harris had 11 pts. Other Blue Devils to score were Julia Huey with 4 pts and Gracie Mitchell with 4pts.
Today the Blue Devils had 34 rebounds, 10 assists, 8 steals, 1 block, and 18 turnovers on 37.3% shooting from the field for the game. Meanwhile, they shot 31.6% from beyond the arc and 50% from the charity stripe for the afternoon.
Looking ahead, the Blue Devils look to avenge an early-season loss to Rochester with tomorrow afternoon's Valentine Day showdown in the Don Ridler slated to tip-off at 1 pm. From there, the Blue Devils will recoup and get ready for another grueling stretch of games to finish the season in the next week and a half.
