SOUTHFIELD, Mich.- Women's basketball hit the hardwood at home to close out another week of WHAC basketball and kick off another week of WHAC basketball all in one Sunday afternoon. The Rochester Warriors came to town looking to sweep the series, and the Blue Devils looked to keep that from happening. In what was a back and forth game in the third and fourth quarter, it would take someone to falter eventually. However, that team happened to be the Blue Devils, who fell to the tune of 73-65 Sunday afternoon.

The Blue Devils, who were down at one point 21 pts in the third quarter, faced adversity in the eyes as they have done so many times this season, not losing hope in their upset. It wasn't enough, though, to keep Rochester from pulling away. The Blue Devils had 20 turnovers, 24 rebounds, 114 assists, 8 steals, and 1 block. Overall, the Blue Devils shot 37% from the field, 42.9% from beyond the arc, and 72.7% from the charity stripe Sunday afternoon. A technical foul was issued to the Rochester bench Sunday.

Leading the Blue Devils Sunday afternoon was Hoosier native Teryn Kline with 23 pts. Fellow Hoosier Kendall Fisher had 19 pts on the afternoon. Jade Faris had 8 pts, while Emily Langolf, Gabby Gough, and Kylee Batey each had 4 pts.

Looking forward, the Blue Devils hit the road to Aquinas Wednesday night before a Saturday afternoon showdown against Madonna. Game time is set for 5:30 pm tip-off Wednesday night and a Noon tip-off Saturday afternoon.
