Box Score SOUTHFIELD, Mich.- Women's basketball was back at it for a back-to-back conference game to finish out the season. They also were celebrating senior night, honoring Teryn Kline and Emily Langolf on Tuesday night. In what was a defensive battle in the first half, the Blue Devils were able to pull away in the second half to grab the 61-47 win Tuesday.
It was another night of career nights for the Blue Devils, this time for Ft. Wayne native Julia Huey tying her career-high with 17 pts and setting her season-high. A career night on the boards for Gabby Gough, who grabbed 18 boards along with 10 pts. Fellow Hoosiers Kendall Fisher and Teryn Kline each had 9 pts Tuesday. Jade Faris had 7 pts, and Cierra Harris had 5 pts.
The Blue Devils went 20-52, shooting 38.5% from the field while going 8-28, shooting 28.6% from beyond the arc. It was an off night for the Blue Devils at the charity stripe going 13-22, shooting 59.1%. Overall the Blue Devils had 39 boards, 14 assists, 5 steals, 2 blocks, and 17 turnovers Tuesday.
Looking ahead, the Blue Devils will head to Ann Arbor to take on Concordia for a rematch of just a week ago. Tip-offs slated for 7 pm inside Cardinal Field House.
