Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.- Women's basketball played what seems to be their 100th game this week, but in actuality was their 6th game in 10 days and 5th game 7 days, and what has been a grueling half of their schedule. Sunday's game against Siena Heights was their second game in 2 days, coming off a trip to Sylvania, Ohio, on Saturday. Today's result was an upset win against rival Siena Heights in Adrian, Michigan, to the tune of 66-57.
The senior guard from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Teryn Kline, led the Blue Devils today with a 25 point effort in the win. Fellow Hoosier Kendal Fisher had 17 pts in the win and was the only other Blue Devil in double-digits. Ciera Harris had 7 pts and 5 boards, Julia Huey had 6 pts and 2 boards, Gabby Gough 5 pts and a block in the win for the Blue Devils. Other Blue Devils to score were Kylee Batey with 2 pts and Addie Nagel with 2 pts.
The Blue Devils had 38 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals, 4 blocks, and 15 turnovers to go along with 38.9% shooting from the field, 46.2% shooting from beyond the arc, and 80% shooting from the charity stripe.
Looking ahead, the Blue Devils finally get some much-needed rest before turning their attention to league leader Indiana Tech on Wednesday night inside the Don Ridler Field House. From there, the Blue Devils will hit the road Saturday for a matchup against Concordia Ann Arbor. Then a Valentine's Day matinee takes place Sunday when Rochester comes to Southfield. The Blue Devils will look to avenge an early loss to them this season on Sunday, Feb. 14th.
