Ypsilanti, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University men's tennis team played against Concordia University- Ann Arbor on Friday afternoon. The Blue Devils would beat their WHAC foe, the Cardinals, by a final score of 5-0.
In the 2-singles match,
Alexander Tammaro defeated Tristan Waechter in straight sets 6-1, 6-1
Pedro Garcia-Orellana was victorious in his 3-singles match against Ethan Szabados 6-1, 6-0.
Lukas Obel made quick work of Ethan Hiltz, winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-0
Luca Roth defeated Nick Althouse with ease, 6-0, 6-0
Patrick Putschbach won in a walkover, due to no opponent.
Evan Morgan did not compete in the top flight singles match due to inclement weather.
LTU would defeat to Concordia 5-0, abridged due to inclement weather.
The next Blue Devils tennis match is on Saturday, March 26st at Franklin Athletic Club for Senior Night. This match will begin at 5 PM.
