Oneida, Tenn. - The Lawrence Technological University softball team spilt a pair of games at day two of the Bear Creek Tournament when they played Indiana South Bend in game one before taking on Huntington University in the night cap.
How It Happened: LTU 1, IUSB 9 (5 Innings)
- Sarah Hige singled up the middle to lead things off in the top of the first for LTU.
- IUSB would score two in the bottom of the first from a 2-RBI double to right, and a ground ball to first base that scored Maddy Edwards.
- In the top of the third, Lily Morrissette and Lauren Fife both singled in the inning.
- Batters later, Mazie Lawler stepped up to deliver a single through the left side to score Fife making it 2-1.
- The Titans strung together a four-run inning in the bottom half of the third to go back up 6-1.
- LTU would go three up, three down in the top of the fourth.
- The Blue Devils' last bat of the game was in the top of the fifth when they left two runners stranded.
- LTU would lose this game by a final of 9-1 (5 innings).

Clover Brandt was on the bump to start, pitching two innings giving up five hits. Brandt allowed three runs and struck out two batters. Grace Roeske came in on relief and gave up three runs on two hits.
How It Happened: LTU 3, HU 2
- LTU only had two hits after three frame with the game tied at zero after three.
- In the top of the fourth inning, Katie Courneya reached on a fielding error.
- Callie Tatum singled up the middle but LTU left two runners on.
- Huntington took the lead 2-0 after a 2-RBI after a Blue Devils' error in the bottom half of the inning.
- In the top of the fifth inning, LTU rallied to score three.
- After Chloe Carpenter singled up the middle she came around to score after an RBI sacrifice bunt by Larissa Mercado.
- Lawler's double down the left-field line drove in two more.Â
- LTU won this game by a final score of 3-2.

Gloriana Su'a pitched 4.1 innings and gave up two runs (zero earned). Su'a allowed four hits and struck out one batter. Brandt pitched 2.2 innings giving up three hits and no runs.
