YORKTOWN, Ind. – The Lawrence Technological University women's golf team completed their first event of the season on Saturday, finishing 11th out of 14 teams in the three-day Players Club Invitational, hosted by Taylor University.

• Manasa Potluri opened Thursday with a 4-over, 76 before posting scores of 82 and 84 to be LTU's top finisher in 41^st place.
• Sophomore Ella Smith was consistent throughout, carding scores of 84, 84, and 83 to end in 57^th.
• Julia LeFere was 10 shots back of Smith with rounds of 84, 85, and 92 for a T63 finish in the 83-player field.
• Alanna Makarchuk and Samantha Helder rounded out the LTU squad, finishing T73 and 76^th respectively.

The Blue Devils head to Harbor Shores Golf Club in Benton Harbor, Michigan on Monday, September 12^th for the two-day Harbor Shores Intercollegiate, hosted by Bethel University.
