The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup is a program that began in the 1993-94 academic year and honors institutions that maintain a broad-based program while achieving success in many sports, both men's and women's. Overall, 13 sports are counted in the final NAIA standings, four of which must be women's volleyball, men's soccer and men's/women's basketball. The next highest (13 maximum) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the Directors' Cup standings.
Fellow WHAC member Indiana Tech captured the team title with 867-1/2 points, leading a competitive group of eight schools that registered at least 175 points. In all, 10 of the WHAC's 12 full-time institutions appeared in the Cup's final standings.
