Juan Jose Escriba Pastor were defeated by Carlos Henriquez/Simone Pacciolla in the top-flight battle 6-3, earning the point for Davenport.

Redwane Bouhajda won the 3-doubles match against Max Dion/Marius Pion 6-3.
In singles:
3-seeded King beat Henriquez 6-1, 6-2.

In the top flight, Morgan defeated Stolin by way of retirement, despite each player taking a set 4-6, 6-2, ret..

Escriba Pastor won the 5-singles match against Jose Brenes, 6-4, 6-3.

4-seeded Haurez slipped up against Pion, 6-4, 3-6, 5-7.

The Boivin/Paramasivam match in 2-singles was probably the most evenly matched up battle of the day. Boivin lost the rock fight, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 5-7.

Bouhajda's 6-singles match against Pacciolla went three sets, and went the way of Pacciolla. 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.
The Panthers claim their victory at home, 4-3.
Coach Mertz on the match: "Guys fought hard today in a very back-and-forth match. Ultimately, it didn't go our way, but, comparing this match to the start of the season, we can see the positive progression of the team. That is the most important part. Difficult losses like this are one that we want to forget fast and have a positive attitude moving forward"
The Blue Devils continue this week, when they face Huntington University at Franklin Athletic Club on Saturday at 4pm.
