FORT WAYNE, IND. — The Lawrence Technological University women's tennis team traveled to face Indiana Tech.


Doubles:

A. Gomez/R. Arunkumar took down Taylor Mattingly-Harnden/Rafaela Tedesco 6-0 in 2-doubles

In 3-doubles, Miriam McCormick and Angela Anderanin tripped up V. Rodriguez/K. Fiedler, 6-4

The top-flight match saw T. Carvalho/P. San Jose defeat Paola Herrera Rivera/Jacqueline Alcocer 6-4


Singles:

The top-flight battle went the way of Indiana Tech, with Carvalo taking down Herrera Rivera 6-0, 6-2

San Jose despatched McCormick 6-2, 6-2

The 2-singles match of Tedesco/Arumkumar was won by Arumkumar 6-3, 7-6(5)

Alcocer needed 3 sets, but defeated her opponent 6-2, 3-6, 12-10

Rodriguez beat Mattingly-Harnden in 5-singles 6-1, 6-4

Taylor Moore dropped her 6-singles match to van der Lee 6-1, 6-4. 

Indiana Tech wins 6-1. 

The Blue Devils look to avenge their loss when they face Aquinas on Saturday at 4pm.
