FORT WAYNE, Ind. - In a challenging WHAC Conference basketball game at the Schaefer Center on December 3, 2025, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils men's basketball team suffered a defeat against Indiana Tech, falling 85-65.
The first period saw aggressive play from both teams. Despite efforts from Lawrence Tech to close an early gap, Indiana Tech concluded the first half ahead with a score of 36-32.
The Blue Devils saw commendable performances from
Vuk Zarubica, who led his team with 17 points, and
Michael Afrakoff, adding 11 points.
Davin Walker also stood out with 12 rebounds and was instrumental in Lawrence Tech's temporary lead in the second period with his three-point scoring alongside
Ramon Zapater. However, the comeback was short-lived as Indiana Tech, spurred by Fugate and Davison, reasserted dominance, eventually widening the gap to a 20-point lead by game end.
With this result, Lawrence Tech's record now stands at 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the conference. They look forward to their next challenge against the University of Northwestern Ohio on December 6, 2025, in Lima, Ohio, aiming to bounce back from this setback.
