ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The WHAC has announced individual esports awards for the 24-25 season.
The Valorant WHAC Player of the Year was none other than
Vincent Robison. Vincent joins an elite group of athletes as one that accomplished first team all-conference in two different sports (football and esports). Vincent and the Valorant team came just short of a WHAC title this year with a loss to Siena Heights in the finals after entering the tournament as the #2 seed.
Four Blue Devils took home All-Conference honors for the season.
Zachary Lundy (Overwatch 2) and
Vincent Robison (Valorant) both took home first team honors in their respective games.
Bryan Nguyen (League of Legends) and
Tylur Hawkins (Valorant) were awarded All-Conference second team honors due to their skills on the sticks.Â
Alain Dauphin was announced as LTU Esports Champion of Character due to their leadership skills and abilities in game.Â
Last but not least, 18 Blue Devils earned All-Academic honors due to the combination of skill in game and their abilities in the classroom. Here are the Blue Devils that earned this highly prestigious award: Timothy Czajkowski,
