FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - In the first game, Lawrence Tech's offense exploded for a 13-4 victory in five innings. After a quiet start, the Blue Devils scored one run in the second and five in the third before sealing the win with a massive seven-run fifth inning.
Sophia Propps led the offensive charge, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while
Alyssa Bloomfield and
Sarah Basket each contributed two RBIs. Basket also earned the win in the circle, striking out seven batters over five innings while allowing four runs on six hits.
The Blue Devils continued their dominant performance in the nightcap, securing a 6-0 shutout victory. LTU established an early lead with one run in the first and two in the second, followed by single runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings. Delaney Monroe provided the highlight of the game with a solo home run, while Emmie Fowler turned in a perfect 3-for-3 performance at the plate with three RBIs. Natilee Pridemore earned the win, pitching five scoreless innings and allowing only four hits before Mikayla Timm finished the final two innings to complete the shutout.
