BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. - The Blue Devils struggled to find offensive rhythm in the first game of the day, falling 5-1 to Aquinas. The Blue Devils' lone run came in the third inning when Brenna Crittenden launched a solo home run to left center. Despite the early lead, the offense was held to six hits by Aquinas' pitching, with additional hits coming from Alyssa Bloomfield, Sarah Basket, Emmie Fowler, Ashley Stafford, and Sophia Propps. Mikayla Timm started in the circle, followed by Natilee Pridemore, who provided a strong relief performance.

The Blue Devils bounced back in the nightcap, securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory to split the doubleheader. Lawrence Tech jumped out to an early lead in the first inning off of an error by Aquinas and a Natilee Pridemore RBI single. Sarah Basket delivered a dominant performance on the mound, pitching a complete game and earning 4 strikeouts. The Blue Devils took the lead in the third inning after a Zoey Markey solo shot that ended up to be the deciding factor in this close battle. 

The Blue Devils will return to action on the 20th, where they will play against Cornerstone University at home for their final doubleheader of the regular season.
