Dan Behen returned to the Lawrence Tech coaching staff in 2021 after previously serving in the same role from 2012-2018.

Behen served as a coach in the Livonia Hockey Association from 2006-2017, where he got to coach both of his sons on their house and travel teams. His coaching career began in 2003 when he became an assistant coach for the Canton (MI) High School hockey team for two seasons.

He and his wife Mary Lou have four children: Jack, Melissa, Matt, and Molly.
