Tyler McManus Joined LTU in 2021 and is currently the Director of Youth Development and Assistant Coach with the men’s first team at Detroit City FC. 

McManus came to Detroit from the front office of Sporting Kansas City (Major League Soccer) in March 2021, having spent six seasons (2015-2021) working to drive youth soccer operations. He has also spent the last 10+ years coaching at all youth levels. Tyler holds a USSF National C License for coaching as well as a USSF Grassroots Instructor License for coach education. 

McManus graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in science of education, integrated social sciences, focused in adolescent-to-young adults.
