Dan DePaulis

Dan DePaulis is an assistant coach on the Lawrence Tech softball team and oversees the hitting. He is entering his first season on staff with the Blue Devils. 

Prior to joining LTU, DePaulis was the head softball coach at South Lyon High School (2015-2021) and had a career record of 150-60-2. During his tenure, the Lions won back to back to back Lakes Valley Conference Championships (2018-2021) and the 2021 MHSAA Division 1 State Championship, the first in school history. He has been coaching softball and baseball since 2007 including stops as an assistant at U of D Jesuit HS (baseball), student assistant at Eastern Michigan University (baseball), and Ypsilanti Lincoln HS (baseball). 

DePaulis has a M.A. in Autism Spectrum Disorders and a B.A. in Secondary Education from Eastern Michigan University. In addition to coaching at LTU, he works in special education as an autism coach for the Wayne Westland Community School District. 

He is married with two young children and his wife is the head assistant coach for the University of Michigan Ann Arbor cheerleading team.
