Greg Moore

Greg Moore was named the inaugural head women’s hockey coach at Lawrence Technological University in November of 2020.

Prior to holding the position at Lawrence Tech, Moore was the head women’s hockey coach and assistant men’s hockey coach at the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana. In his only season with the Argos, Moore helped lead the men’s hockey team to a Mountain West Conference Championship and number two ranking in the ACHA Division II West Region, earning an automatic bid to the ACHA Men’s Division II National championships. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the national championships were canceled.

Previously, Moore was the head women’s hockey coach at Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota for two seasons. He spent a total of 10 seasons with the Cardinals, as a head and assistant coach, where he helped guide Saint Mary's to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoff appearances in 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2018-19.

Along with his assistant coaching duties at Saint Mary's, Moore also served as an evaluator and instructor for USA Hockey Central District, where he evaluated players—based on their skills—for participation in the National Team Development Camp.

Moore, a former goaltender, was a four-year team member of the Saint Mary's University men's hockey team.

Moore graduated from Saint Mary's in 2011 with an undergraduate degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. He earned his master's degree in organizational leadership from Saint Mary's in 2015.
