WHKY Coach Lexi

Lexi Bohlinger

Entering her fourth season at Lawrence Technological University and her second as Head Coach of the Women’s Hockey team, Lexi Bohlinger is committed to developing the next generation of female athletes. A USA Hockey Level 5 certified coach, she has worked with female hockey players across a variety of age groups—including 10U, 12U, 14U, high school, and collegiate levels. Lexi has also been involved with both the Michigan and Central District camps, the USA Hockey National Camp, and serves as a Coach Developer for USA Hockey.

In addition to her role at LTU, Lexi is the Head Coach of the Grosse Pointe South High School girls' varsity hockey team, where she has led the program to back-to-back state championships and was named the 2023–24 Michigan Girls High School Hockey Coach of the Year. With a strong focus on building hockey IQ and developing skills, Lexi aims to continue cultivating a legacy of women’s hockey at Lawrence Tech.

A former NCAA Division III student-athlete, Lexi played collegiate hockey at Saint Mary’s University, where she developed the competitive foundation and leadership skills she now instills in her players. She is known for her player-first approach, emphasis on development both on and off the ice, and deep understanding of the game.
