Luise von Agris

Luise von Agris enters her second year as the graduate assistant coach with the Lawrence Technological University women‘s tennis team in the fall of 2021. 
 
Luise played tennis collegiately for Indiana University of Pennsylvania (NCAA Division II). She finished her career holding the IUP all-time records for career singles wins (99), doubles wins (110), and combined wins (209). She is also a three-time First-Team All-PSAC West selection in both singles and doubles. 
 
von Agris achieved a ranking of #50 in the Division II ITA national singles rankings as well as a #16 ranking in the Division II ITA national doubles rankings during her senior season. Her career is highlighted by four consecutive trips to the NCAA National Tournament (Sweet 16) as well as being named a PSAC Doubles Champion, CoSIDA Academic All-America, PSAC Tournament MVP, and recipient of the Elite 90 award for DII women’s tennis (2016).
 
She was also part of the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 IUP team that went on to win the PSAC conference championship for the first and second time in program history. 
 
Along with her playing career, von Agris is also a USTA (German Coaching License) certified tennis professional.
 
Originally from Castrop-Rauxel Germany, she graduated from Indiana University of PA in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in international business as well as a bachelor's degree in management with a minor in economics. von Agris is pursuing her master's degree in business administration from LTU.
