Oscar Olejniczak, or "Coach O" as he is known to his student-athletes, has built a solid reputation for himself in both the high school and college coaching circles. In 2024, he begins a new chapter as LTU's offensive coordinator.

Olejniczak held assistant coaching jobs at Michigan State, Wayne State and Campbell universities--the latter a Football Championship Series program in North Carolina where he was the offensive coordinator.

Landing back home in Metro Detroit in the 2010s, “Coach O” led successful high school teams in the Catholic League at Detroit U-D Jesuit and Royal Oak Shrine. When current Blue Devils head coach Scott Merchant was the head coach at U-D Jesuit, Coach O ran the Cubs' offense for Merchant--reuniting in Southfield.

Olejniczak played at Central Michigan University in the 1990s.
