Game Preview: Women' Soccer returns home to face Rochester

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech women's soccer team hosts Rochester College at 4 pm at the LTU Athletic Field on Monday.

Lawrence Tech (3-3) return home after playing the first four of its six games on the road. The Blue Devils traveled to Rochester on September 5 and came away with a 1-0 overtime victory at Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac, Mich.

Hannah Huff was the lone goal scorer for Lawrence Tech as they finished the game with 15 shots - four on goal - compared to seven shots taken by Rochester. Heather Derstine started in net against the Warriors and made one save.

Nicole Propst leads the Blue Devils with three goals through six games. Sarah Britain recorded two assists with Claire Huddas adding 16 shots.

Rochester (3-5) is coming off a pair of wins against Holy Cross College (Ind.) and Defiance College (Ohio) at its home pitch in Pontiac.

Christy Routheaux leads the way for the Warriors with three goals on five shots while Emily Guirey and Taylor Bunyak have two goals apiece. Guirey adds two assists while Bunyak has recorded one through eight games this season.
