SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University (LTU) men's soccer teams wraps up the Labor Day Weekend with a 6 p.m. EST clash with No. 25-ranked Olivet Nazarene University (ONU) (Ill.) in Bourbonnais, Ill., on Monday, September 7.

Lawrence Tech (1-1) opened the weekend with a 1-0 shutout at Robert Morris University (Ill.) on Saturday, September 5. Matt Gibiec led the way for LTU with a goal on four shots. Senior goalkeeper Joey Knoff recorded his second career shutout. The Blue Devils defense allowed just four shots, one on goal in the first win of the season.

Knoff is tied for first in goals against per game (0.00) in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), with Gibiec ranking 26th in total game winning goals (1).

Olivet Nazarene (1-1-1) enters the game on a two game unbeaten streak, defeating Culver-Stockton College (Mo.) 5-0, and drawing with Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Ohio) 1-1 in double overtime. Matheus Guimaraes leads the way for the Tigers, recording two goals, one assist, and five points in three starts. Miguel Fierro has recorded a goal and two assists this season, while four other Tigers have scored a goal each.

ONU goalkeeper, Chris Taborn started all three games in net with a .625 save percentage. Taborn has one shutout this season, making five saves while allowing three goals.
