LIMA, Oh. - On October 25, 2025, the Lawrence Tech University Men's Soccer team, also known as the Blue Devils, faced a tough conference game against the Northwestern Ohio Racers at Racer Stadium in Lima, Ohio. The match concluded with the Racers securing a 2-0 victory over the Blue Devils.

The game started with Northwestern Ohio establishing a strong presence on the field. Lawrence Tech's goalkeeper, Goncalo Duraes, faced challenging moments from the outset. The Racers took the lead early in the first half with a goal from Jayson Janofski at the 7-minute mark, assisted by Alfie Roffey. The Blue Devils struggled to find an answer to the Racers' offense, which continued to press forward. Before the halftime whistle, Northwestern Ohio doubled their advantage with a second goal scored by Eguzki Hashimoto at 39:19, ensuring they held a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.
