SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team looks to continue their success as they travel to Adrian, Michigan for a 7:00 P.M. match up with Siena Heights University.
Lawrence Tech (7-1, 2-0 WHAC) eased past Marygrove College in their previous game, winning 5-0. Tia Lamie and Ally Nyboer gave LTU a 2-0 lead going into the second half of play. Lamie added another goal early in the 46th minute. Madison Greenlee and Jordan Reinhart also recorded goals in the game, their first of their career. Heather Derstine was in net for the Blue Devils, totaling three saves.
The Blue Devils continue to be led by Ally Nyboer and Tia Lamie with eight goals apiece and seven and two assists respectively. Nicole Propst adds six goals and two assists on the season. Heather Derstine has totaled 15 saves while allowing four goals.
Siena Heights enters this game with a record of 6-2-2, 2-0 WHAC. The Saints narrowly edged out a 1-0 win in their most recent game with Concordia (Mich.) University. Danielle Eastman took control of the game in the second overtime, scoring the only goal to give the Saints their second win in WHAC play.
Leading the way for the Saints this season is Taylor Mulder with five goals on 14 shots on goal and four assists. She is followed by Samantha Bartelotti with four goals on 19 shots on goal and two assists. Holding down the net for Siena Heights is Meghan Bogg with 22 saves and five allowed goals.
