SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's soccer team visits LTU Athletic Field on Saturday as visitors in a road game hosted by University of Michigan - Dearborn. The Wolverines home field is under construction, therefore they moved the game to Southfield, Mich.
Lawrence Tech (5-4-3, 0-3-2 WHAC) are winless in their last five games including a 4-0 loss at Madonna (Mich.) University on Wednesday, October 8. They have not scored a goal since the 81st minute of the Indiana Tech game on October 5. That game ended in one of the two ties the Blue Devils have earned in their last five games.
Nico Rbp (FR/Madrid, Spain) leads the team in goals and assists with six and five respectively. Nico also leads the team in points at 17 and shots with 31. Max Jewett (FR/Sterling Heights, Mich.) has made 18 saves in four starts and five games played while allowing 10 goals.
Michigan - Dearborn (3-7-0, 1-5-0 WHAC) are 1-7 in their last eight games including a 1-0 loss at Aquinas (Mich.) College on October 12. Their lone win was at Siena Heights (Mich.) University, 4-3, on October 7.
Richard Hodnicki leads the Wolverines with five goals and an assist for 11 points in nine games this season. Scott Dunford leads the team in assists with three. Dylon Da Silva has started five games in net for Michigan - Dearborn, making 32 saves while allowing 11 goals in 425 minutes of action. UMD has played three different goalkeepers this season with Aaron Johnson starting two games while Tristan Johnson has started three.
The Wolverines rank 20th in the NAIA in saves per game at 7.1 and 40th in total saves at 71.
