SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's volleyball team celebrates its senior on Wednesday, November 2 following their match with University of Michigan - Dearborn. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
The Blue Devils will honor the 2016 senior class which includes the LTU all-time assist leader and 2015 WHAC All-Academic honoree Josie Queary (SR/Midland, MI), 2015 WHAC All-Academic honoree Macee Logerstedt (SR/Romulus, MI), and 2015 NAIA Scholar Athlete and WHAC All-Academic honoree Kristen Johns (SR/Clinton Township, MI).
Lawrence Tech (17-16, 7-8 WHAC) has gone 2-2 in their last four games including a 3-1 win at Marygrove (Mich.) College on Saturday, October 29. LTU is led offensively by Briana Reum (JR/South Elgin, IL) who has 336 kills on the season with Alisha Stidam (JR/Barrie, Ontario CAN) adding 246 on the Year. Brenna Quinn (JR/Bucyrus, OH) has a team high 66 blocks to go with her 232 kills on the season. Kristi Doherty (FR/Davison, Mich.) leads the team in service aces with 42 while Reum has 41 aces on the season.
Michigan - Dearborn (9-19, 2-13 WHAC) have lost five straight including a 3-0 loss at University on Northwestern Ohio on Saturday, October 29. The Wolverines are led on the offensive side by Shayla Smalls with 183 kills followed by Colby DeMare with 178 and Briann Alspaugh with 166. Defensively for the Wolverines, Raechel Warchock has a team high 248 digs. Taylor Bejma leads the team in aces with 29.
