NOTES OF INTEREST ON THE COMETS

-Olivet is winless on the season, falling by an average of 82.1-49.6 in its first eight games of the season.
-The Comets played Lourdes (Ohio) on Nov. 26 in Olivet and lost 76-69 as Katie McKinnon scored a game high 26 points in 25 minutes. Stephanie Cochran added 15 points while Jillian Nickels finished with a team high six assists.
-Olivet is shooting just 27.4 percent from the field while their opponents are scoring a clip of 47.3 percent.
-At home, the Comets score 58.3 points per game, just over 10 points per game more than their season average of 49.6.
-Olivet is led by Nickels with 10.7 ppg followed by Jazmin Hildebrand at 8.3 ppg. Hildebrand shoots a team best 44.9 percent from the field. Hildebrand leads the Comets on the boards, grabbing a team high 6.6 rebounds per game for a total of 53 rebounds including 30 offensive rebounds (3.8 RPG).

LATE THIRD QUARTER COMEBACK REDEMPTION AT CU AFTER SET BACK AT SHU

-Lawrence Tech trailed by 14 points against Cornerstone and instead of folding they went on a 21-6 run in the final 4:30 of the third quarter to take a 48-47 lead into the fourth quarter.
-A week earlier, down 12 with 4:47 left in the third against Siena Heights they struggled to get going and the Saints were able to maintain its lead throughout the remainder of the game.
-The Blue Devils held Cornerstone to just six second chance points while allowing 26 second chance points to Siena Heights.
