No. 18 LTU Honors Senior Class as they Host Indiana Tech on Saturday

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The No. 18-ranked Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University (LTU) women's basketball team hosts (RV) Indiana Tech on Senior Day at Don Ridler Field House on Saturday, February 13. Tip is set for 1 p.m.

Lawrence Tech (19-3, 16-3 WHAC) is honoring its three seniors before today's game: Hannah Huff (SR/Waterford, MI), Jazmine Brown (SR/Chesterfield, MI), and Hali Butler (SR/Fairport Harbor, OH). Butler will graduate as the all-time leading scorer at LTU as she sits at 1,150 career points. Brown will graduate as the all-time leader in blocks at LTU with 56. Hannah Huff joined the team as a junior and is finishing her final season as a Blue Devil this year. She played in 25 games last season and 13 this year with a career high 7 seven points against Michigan-Dearborn earlier this year.

The Blue Devils defeated Indiana Tech 61-54 on January 2 in Fort Wayne, Ind. Butler surpassed 1,000 career points during the game as she finished with a game high 25 points and 11 rebounds in 40 minutes of action. Nicole Buckingham (FR/Saginaw, Mich.) added 20 points and four rebounds in the win. Taylor Seis and Haley Cook led the way for the Warriors with 18 and 15 points respectively.

Butler leads LTU in points per game (13.50) and rebounds per game (7.23). Cherilyn Banas (FR/Oxford, Mich.) dishes 2.69 assists per game while Christina Henry (JR/Lansing, Mich.) steals the ball an average of 2.24 time per game. Brown leads the team in blocks with 12.

Lawrence Tech ranks fourth in NAIA Division II total rebound margin (12.36) and three-point field goal percent defense (0.258). The Blue Devils ranks sixth in field goal percentage (0.458) and total rebound defense (32.23). LTU ranks ninth in total rebounds per game (44.60).

Indiana Tech (18-9, 14-5 WHAC) sits two games back of Lawrence Tech in the standings and rides a five game winning streak into Don Ridler Field House. They are 7-2 in their last nine games and are receiving votes in the NAIA Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Cook leads the way for the Warriors with 15.78 points per game while Kendall Knapke leads the team in rebounds per game (7.00), steals per game (1.19), and blocks per game (1.48). Seiss ranks eighth in NAIA DII total three-point field goals made (82) and 10th in three-point field goals made per game (3.04). Cook ranks 16th in total three-point field goals made (69).

The Warriors rank third in NAIA DII three-point field goal percentage (0.378) and ninth in total scoring per offense (2,071) and total three-point field goals made (235).
